Sunday night, I had the priveledge of attending the Colts and Patriots game at Lucas Oil Stadium with several co-workers. The place was electric due to the Nationally Televised game and the rivalry between the two teams. As we were leaving the stadium, one of my co-workers turned on the radio which promptly played the last three notes of a Stryper song (it was a heavy metal station). Before I could even think about it, I blurted out:
Wasn’t that “To Hell With the Devil” by Stryper?
They both just looked at me like I was a freak. About two seconds later, the DJ came on the radio and said:
That was Stryper with “To Hell With the Devil”….
Now the two guys I was with REALLY looked at me like I was a freak. I couldn’t help it….my 80’s was showing. I kept my mouth shut the rest of the way back to our destination. I still can’t tell you who won the war of 18-whatever, but I can sure tell you the name of a Stryper song after three notes.
So I’ve got that going for me…..

Rock on, brother! I am so there! Totally impressed on just three notes, that’s the mark of a true Stryper fan!!! Loved the video! Don’t ever be ashamed to show your true 80’s self, I do all the time, however, I will not do the BIG hair again!
Did you know that Michael has a new CD out, of hymns, seriously!
Thanks for the blast from the past!
Vicki

My fault Joel. I forgot to update it when I moved. Got it fixed now. Stryper rocked.
Vicki – If I remember right, didn’t I hear somewhere that you had a Stryper son in your wedding? That is just awesome…”honestly”…sorry, couldn’t resist the song title.
