I’ve been looking forward to THIS SUNDAY at Rock City Church for a few weeks now. As a matter of fact, this is the 3rd time I’ve broken my 21-Day Social Media Fast to tell you about it. As I said in an earlier post, I’m not telling you to promote attendance to Rock City. I’m breaking it to tell you that Justin and Trisha Davis are speaking at all 3 of our services. I’m breaking it because I know that God has big plans for Sunday. I wouldn’t type it or go to the trouble of breaking this important 21-Day Fast to post this if I didn’t believe it.
A few months ago I was in a group discussion with several other men. At some point in the conversation, one of the other men there broke the discussion by stating that his marriage was in big trouble. Once this man gave the “gift of going second”, nearly half of the men in the group shared that their relationships had either been in trouble or were also going through difficult waters. Had this man not broken the ice, we may have all sat there and never known what was going on with one another.
That’s why I’m breaking this fast for this brief announcement. Relationships (single, dating or married) are complicated. If you are struggling or know a couple that is struggling, join us at 9am, 10:45am and 12:30pm on Sunday at the Lennox. It’s time to move Beyond Ordinary. Give the gift of an invitation and a road to restoration.

This post is from my brother in laws blog and his church Rock City. These speakers will be there this Sunday. We had a very positive experience regarding marriage discussion recently much like Aaron’s men’s group he mentions. I have not read this couples book but my wife and I will be starting it and I am looking forward to it. Just wanted to pass the word along. Have heard great things about this couples story. It was a great day BJ. Hope your car is fixed soon too. Rock City is in the midst of revival like we’ve never seen. Growing each week and more and more people getting on their mark. This morning was incredible. Justin and Trisha really did a fantastic job. So proud of them.
