I know we’re all busy. Believe me we understand busy. Especially on a Saturday. However the message of Christmas is too huge to not find a few hours to make contact with those in our community. This Saturday, December 10th @ 10:00am “Team Conrad” will meet at the Panera Bread at Mill Run to distribute 2000 door hangers for Rock City Church all around Hilliard. We could sure use your help. We began a new series this morning at Rock City Church called “Home for Christmas”. The series is based on the scripture in Isaiah 9:6 that says “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” The next four weeks leading up to Christmas will be based on those final four statements.

Scripture: Isaiah 9:6

1. God speaks to us through His word.

When we read Scripture, Scripture reads us.

As we get more of His Word in us, it literally trains us to be godly.

2. God speaks to us through His Spirit.

The Holy Spirit leads us to Christ and directs us as we walk with Christ.

The Holy Spirit will never direct us contrary to God’s Word.

3. God speaks to us through others.

4. God speaks to us in the quiet.

5. God speaks to us through the circumstances of life.

Because God is always speaking….

I must learn to acknowledge His Voice.

I must learn to seek His Voice.

I must learn to obey His Voice.
