Okay, so I have a small confession to make. I have not watched ONE episode of this years American Idol. Not one. Couldn’t tell you a single name or person on this years show. I think I saw another bald guy, which is cool. I think I am still burned by the whole Daughtry thing last year. Anyway, I have been seeing references to “the beat box guys” performance the other night. A lot of people are calling it the best ever. Mudpuppy put together his top 5 as well.
It is when I noticed one HUGE omission that I decided to post my favorite performance of all time. First off, it was 80’s night, what could go wrong? Secondly, I think she sang this song better then Heart. Maybe one day she will do a re-make. So here’s my all-time Idol performance.

Carrie is awesome isn’t she!! I’ve watched this since the second season (and I’m watching the first season as American Idol Rewind right now) and she and Clay Aiken are my favorites – hands down. This season has actually been really good so you’re missing out by not watching! Jordin is our favorite this year – I really like Melinda too though. The guys are good but they aren’t as good as the girls this year.
