I have found that the older I get, the funnier the movie “City Slickers” is. Maybe it is because it is hitting close to home now that I am older. There are several real truths in this movie. The book “Wild at Heart” should be required reading before seeing this film. The clip below could easily be called “The Wound” (for those of have read WAH). I post it today because of what Billy Crystal says. It underlines why tonights game means a lot to me. It identifies why I know that someday, it will mean even more to my son too.

It’s a gift that our worst days CAN be our best days, if we’re able to discern God’s hand in it. Loved that movie. My son cried when Norman got caught up in the current. (So, did I). 🙂
