You may or may not know this, but many DVD’s come with a hidden feature called an “Easter Egg“. They are hidden gems on DVD’s that might include additional features or commentary. Well in case you missed it, I put an Easter Egg on this blog yesterday too. A few people found it already so maybe I didn’t do a very good job hiding it.
After some conversation with Jeremy, I pulled the trigger on something I have been wanting to do for a long time now. We both are trying something and it will be interesting see how it develops. For those that find it, you know it’s TOTALLY different than what I have done in the past.
Hint: There’s an Easter Egg somewhere in this post too (and it’s not the hyperlink to Jeremy’s site).
Happy hunting…
Does it have dirt on it?
Dirt on It!! Great, yet another feed on the newsreader!!
So you’re saying I have NO future as the Easter Bunny???
Pretty clever hint.
LOL. love it…… i had no idea that DVDs had Easter Eggs – are they separate from their “extras” that you can find in the menus?
Thanks Brian. Mandy, to answer your question, this comes from “Wiki” –
“The Easter Egg has also found new life in DVD. In some cases, an extra click to the right or left, or going up in the menu instead of going down to select a choice will bring up a hidden feature, including concept art, humorous outtakes, or deleted scenes. One notable use is in the DVDs for the series Lost.”
