I’ve mentioned it before, but my taste in music is all over the map. My iPod has some crazy stuff on it. With that in mind, I thought this would be fun. Below is the playlist I just put together for my little 5K run tomorrow. These are the artists that will be keeping me moving. Can you name the song from the artist that will be playing?
Here’s who I’ll be listening to:
- Newsboys
- Downhere
- Jeremy Camp
- Queen
- Mercyme
- Gnarls Barkley
- Ozzy Osborne
- Shaggy
- Justin Timberlake*
- Daughtry
- Nickleback
- Mandisa*
- P!nk*
- Ingram Hill
- Kid Rock
- Toby Mac
- David Crowder Band
- Miranda Lambert*
*Indicates potential loss of man card…
Nothing to worry about, AAron….no loss of Man Card if it keeps your feet moving. Your JT and Pink are safe on the playlist.
Ha-Ha. Thanks Kristin. I guess it’s worth handing it over for 30 minutes in order to keep the pace 🙂 Hope all is well in C-Town!
Well, if you listen to Timberlake, beware of a “wardrobe malfunction” that may occur during the race…
Beware!!!
Mike, I don’t know if you said that intentionally or not, but the Timberlake song on the mix, is in fact, the very song he was singing when the “wardrobe malfunction” occurred at the Super Bowl. Good work my man!
It’s gonna be so cold I’ll have too many layers to have a problem with that. Good looking out though.
Timberlake? I hope you trip up when that song hits. Good luck!!
Truth be told, I absolutely loved the first 3 songs
I Am Free
Here I Am
Speaking Louder Than Before
When it came to the Queen song (which shall remain nameless), I hit next. Same with Mercyme (Nothing More Nothing Less). I then listened to the next 2
Crazy
Crazy Train (which came on at just the right time. I cranked that.)
I then listened to part of Shaggy (Hope) all of JT’s and Daughtry’s (Feels Like Tonight) . I skipped Nickleback (Savin’ Me) and listened to Mandisa (Love Somebody).
I finished with P!nk (Mean).
I’ll have to save the rest for another day. Starting with “I Am Free” by the Newsboys might become a tradition for me. What an appropriate song and way to get things moving. “I am free to run”
Good times.
All you need to add is a HSM song – like……All for One or What time is it 🙂
Ok, maybe not…..
Here is one you should add to your list though (seriously):
Deluge – Open Up the Sky

You need some Rocky. That always got me pumped before each race. Also, I meant to say I hope you don’t trip when the Timberlake song plays. Long day, hanging lights on the house.
