I don’t watch soccer. I don’t play soccer. My kids don’t play soccer. We don’t own a soccer ball and I didn’t celebrate when The Columbus Crew won the Championship. The closest I have ever been to a Crew game was I drove by the stadium while one was going on once. I don’t know the players and I don’t follow the teams. It doesn’t mean there is anything wrong with soccer. I just don’t follow it. I have several friends that do all of the above. One thing I do understand is their passion and love for a sport. I’ve got the same sickness, it’s just a ball that bounces and goes through a hoop.
