We’re two weeks away. Two weeks from now we will choose our next President. We’ll choose our Commander in Chief. This is not a political post. I’m pretty sure you all know who I am voting for. You all know what “rally” I am going to attend…. (Google it).
Here’s an idea…..
Let’s Make Free Hugs Great Again.
No matter who wins or loses.
Hugs are middle of the aisle.
Hugs don’t care about who you were, are, or want to be. Hugs say that I am with you no matter what.
Hugs connect us at a heart level without words. With a hug, the sender and the receiver both know that nothing needs to be said. The hug does the talking.
A hug makes someone’s day.
A hug breaks down walls.
A hug lets you know that you are welcome here.
Let’s make Free Hugs Great Again.
Our political figures will fail us. Their promises won’t ring true. Their platform speeches are that….a platform speech to secure your vote.
A hug though…..a hug is you and another person. No agenda. No plans. Just a connection to say that “We’re both gonna be alright. Even if just in this moment. In this moment, we’re both gonna be alright.”
