Dear Loyal Subscribers, Friends and Visitors,
Thank you for being a follower, fan, subscriber or just reading this post. This blog has been a journey from the very first post to this one today. From the beginning it has been a journal of sorts. It has been where I go to write, process, share and often, don’t share.
Which brings me to a post that went out this week….
Let me start with the WHY you got 3 posts in one day earlier this week.
My team and I are in the process of strategic planning about 2025 and our websites and projects. We are currently rebuilding myunscripted.com (pardon our dust) and determining what content I create will go to what site. Since one of the pillars of Unscripted is content, we have been moving things around. In doing so this week, a set of posts that were actually in my “drafts” went out to all of you.
That was a fail and I will 100% own that. It was a “draft” in my blog which explains the timing and message that likely didn’t make sense.
Ultimately, I was processing the very intense election process. I went to writing to put my thoughts somewhere. It went to a draft that was never intended to be posted. Think of it as seeing my journal entry that should have been private.
With that, I understand that there are people that subscribe to this blog that do not share my political opinion and views. That should be okay in our world today. We should still be able to welcome one another with “Arms Wide Open” (Throwback to the original name of the blog). My draft likely did not match that message.
For that, I am sorry.
Please accept my sincere apology. I understand we all had different reactions to the election and I sincerely pray that we move forward as a nation united and stronger. I also pray that my words or posts will begin that process.
Thank you for reading these words and I apologize again that a post written in frustration or haste was received.
