Praying For My Daughters Cowboy

Happy Valentine’s Day for all who celebrate. I’m a proud #GirlDad. I am praying for their future cowboys.

Growing up, my mama prayed daily for the girl that would become my bride. Many nights and days when I would be heartbroken over and over again, my mama prayed. God heard each prayer. It was his timing and not hers or mine. Shout out to Wayne Watson for “Somewhere In The World” by the way…….

I’m a girl dad now. My mamas prayers were heard and because of them, my “somewhere in the world” and I have built a family of a son and two daughters. I believe my son has found his godly future wife. Now I am like my mama. I’m praying for my girls future husband. I’m praying that Jesus is writing his name on their heart. I am praying that they are learning to walk on the street side, open doors, make my girls feel like a queen.

I’m praying they are a cowboy like my friend Abby Anderson sang about in her song “Where Did All The Cowboys Go?”

On this Valentine’s Day, I hope you have found your cowboy. Men, I hope you’re still her cowboy. Dad’s, I hope you’re praying for your daughters cowboy.

The kinda man that’ll walk her home

Somewhere in the world my girls cowboys are out there and I can’t wait to meet him.
