I made it official today and signed up to run the Half Marathon in Cleveland on May 16th. There is nothing like running this one in the town I’ll always call “home”. I’m running these 13.1 miles to honor my Mom.

Good luck! It has been great to see your mother’s faith through your writing about her. She must have been a wonderful Godly woman.

Thanks Rob. That was really the determining factor. I was out on my long run on Saturday and just felt that it was something I needed to do for myself and for her. The two will really go hand in hand over the course of those 13.1 miles. Something tells me it might get a little emotional. It is literally the least I can do to honor her legacy. No better place to do that than Cleveland which will always be near and dear to my heart.
