It is with great anticipation that I go to our mailbox every day. I don’t know why, I guess I just always look forward to what might be in there. So when I received a check from YAHOO! today for no apparent reason, I was puzzled. Upon opening said check, I was even more puzzled….
That’s right. The fine people at YAHOO! sent me a check for zero dollars and 00 cents. I have no idea why. There was no letter, no explanation. Just a check for zero dollars and 00 cents. I’m sure there is a great analogy here somewhere, I just can’t seem to find it. Do I actually OWE my church 10 cents now as a tithe too? I am dying to take this check to the bank and hand it to the teller with a deposit slip. I just want to see their face. It will probably match mine when I opened it…..
