By now, most of you all know there are two churches near and dear to my heart. One of those two churches is one that is located 6 hours away in Nashville, Tennessee. Though we don’t get to attend physically each Sunday morning, my family and I gather around the TV (connected to an iPhone) and attend via their internet broadcast. On Sunday, Cross Point Church is launching a new series called “Glimpse“. Senior Pastor Pete Wilson will begin a brief, 3 week series exploring Heaven, Hell, and What might be next. The schedule is as follows:
June 12 – Heaven Is For Real – an exclusive interview with the author of the New York Times bestseller “Heaven Is For Real”
June 19 – Heaven, why do we want to go to a place we don’t know anything about?
June 26 – Would a loving God send people to hell
I don’t know about you, but I can’t think of a more timely and critical series right now. With the popularity of books like Rob Bell’s “Love Wins” and “Heaven is For Real” by Todd Burpo, people are obviously wondering about what’s next.
