Sammy Sass –

2022: Named to the Horizon League All-Tournament Team… Played and started in 57 games… Primarily started at catcher… Batted .281 with six doubles, two triples, nine homers, 52 RBI, and 53 runs scored… Went 6-for-6 stealing bases… Possessed top-10 HL marks in runs (3rd), RBI (4th), walks (7th), home runs (8th), and hits (9th, 61)… Finished with 15 multi-hit games and 12 multi-RBI performances… Reached base in the final seven games of the season… Hit .350 (28-for-80) with runners in scoring position… Exploded for three home runs and nine RBI in the Horizon League Championship title game… Hit 2-for-4 with a homer, four RBI, and two runs at #11 Georgia Tech (2/18)… Led team in chances (452), putouts (408), and runners caught stealing (12).

Andrew Patrick –

2022: Named to the Horizon League All-Freshman Team and the Horizon League All-Tournament Team… Played in 55 games, making 53 starts… Split time between third base and left field… Batted .266 with nine doubles, one triple, nine homers, 37 RBI, and 39 runs scored… Went 13-for-17 stealing bases… Ranked seventh in the Horizon League in stolen bases and 10th in RBI… Slashed .295/.438/.526 with 11 extra-base hits and nine stolen bases against conference opponents… Batted .328 with four doubles, one triple, eight homers, and 16 RBI in the final 18 games of the season… Had 10 multi-hit and multi-RBI games… Hit 3-for-4 with two doubles and four RBI in win at Virginia Tech (3/4)… Tallied two home runs and three RBI in win over Youngstown State (5/1)… Went 2-for-4 with three RBI and two stolen bases in victory versus Dayton… Ranked fourth on team with 43 assists.
