Columbus, Ohio – Today, we are excited to announce that The Westwood Fieldhouse in Hilliard, Ohio has also joined the opportunity. Late last week, Andy Warnock, Founder of the Westwood Collective extended an offer to be an additional location for your new and gently used jerseys. Their generosity now provides a location in Hilliard at the amazing Westwood Fieldhouse as well as the Just Hoops Columbus locations in Dublin/Plain City and Lewis Center.

About the Westwood Fieldhouse

Andy Warnock grew up in Delaware, Ohio with a dream to have keys to a basketball gym. In his youth, he snuck into Ohio Wesleyan University to work on his craft. As a collegian, he earned keys to that very gym as a captain on the Battling Bishops’ basketball team and would go on to garner ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American honors at OWU. Warnock never stopped thinking about providing local youth with a state-of-the-art facility to grow their love of the game.

Upon moving to Hilliard, Ohio in 2006, Warnock saw an opportunity. Utilizing the Westwood brand, paying homage to Westwood Avenue (the street he grew up on), a vision was cast. In 2020, amidst a global pandemic and with court demand at an all-time high, the dream was realized. Westwood Fieldhouse was born; a state-of-the-art wood court basketball and volleyball centric haven for Central Ohio youth (and adults!) to come together to train, compete, and improve.

Note: the Fieldhouse is open to other court sports, too!

About Jerseys of Hope

Jerseys of Hope is a non-profit organization committed to inspiring a sense of community and well-being in hospitals through the donation of new and gently used athletic jerseys to be worn by patients rooting for their favorite team.

“After my mom Sharon was diagnosed with cancer, I saw firsthand the sadness and isolation some patients experience while in the hospital. I also saw, on a Sunday in that Baltimore-area hospital, the buzz of life and energy as dozens of patients gathered together to cheer on the Baltimore Ravens. From then on, I wanted to promote the weekly sense of community these patients were able to feel when, for an afternoon, they could forget about being a patient, and enjoy being a sports fan.”

-John Biemer, Founder & President

Since their inception, Jerseys of Hope has helped impact thousands of children in 13 states and 3 countries.
