Review – All Pro Dad

This is a review I cannot wait to get done on so many levels. First, I am a HUGE fan of the All Pro Dad movement. Several years ago I had the privilege of leading a local chapter and enjoyed connecting fathers and their kids. My kids and I have also attended three of the All Pro Dad Experience days and made lasting memories each time. Second, the author, Mark Merrill is a close friend of Tony Dungy, for whom I have the upmost respect. Last and certainly not least, I know that I need any help I can get when it comes to being a dad.

All Pro Dad by Mark Merrill is one of the best books I have read for dads and husbands. Broken down into 7 essentials, All Pro Dad gives the opportunity to pause and take an inventory on where you are as a father and husband. Mark does a great job of starting with some fundamentals that each of us need to consider as we lead our homes. Page after page, I found myself underlining words to remember and key points to consider.

With Father’s Day just around the corner, I highly recommend that each Dad put this on their list. While most of us usually ask for tools and lawn equipment, I believe this will be the most important tool you can receive this year. For Moms and wives, I recommend you get this for your husband. I believe if they read and apply even just a few of these fundamentals, you will see a difference in your home.

I don’t often give a 5 out of 5 on a review unless I firmly believe in the product or book I am reviewing. Without a doubt, All Pro Dad is worthy of that 5 out of 5. It is a book I will reference often. I’m honored to have had the opportunity to review it.
