As is often the case after dinner, we all usually make our way to the living room for movies, TV, games, puzzles or whatever else the kids find entertaining for the next few hours. Tonight happened to be “Wrestlemania”. Much as I hate to admit it, the middle one was by far the most brutal. She was whipping the boy and I into shape, diaper and all! Then came one of those moments that you immediately commit to memory. As usual, we had the radio playing in the background to provide a soundtrack for whatever we are doing. As we were winding down, the song “I could not ask for more” by Edwin McCain came on. As I sat there with 2 of the kids in my lap, looking at the baby in Heathers, the chorus to the song played in the background. “I could not ask for more than this time together. I could not ask for more than this time with you. Every prayer I have has been answered, every dream I have has come true. Yeah right here in this moment, is right where I want to be. Here with you, here with me.” It was a great moment, after a great time together. There is no doubt in my mind that this is right where I want to be.
