Tonight while I was doing some updating to the site, I noticed that someone had left a comment to the recent “Who You’d Be Today” post. After reading it, I could tell that it was from someone whom I don’t know. This is not unusual based on the tracking that I do. Unbelievably, this blog receives several hits per day from people that were doing a search for lyrics to songs that I might have used in a previous post. My guess is that most of them are complete strangers to the site. Which makes the comment that was left mean that much more to me personally.

I have mentioned it before, but with the short windows of time that we all have, there are times when I have thought about pulling the plug on this thing and taking it off-line. It has been a great run and much more than I ever dreamed it would be. But something always keeps me posting. I can’t explain it, I just feel like it’s what I should do. So anonymous, if you ever make your way to Leftfield again, thank you for your comments. Thank you for confirming my reasons for putting some thoughts into a blog. For those that visit regularly, thank you as well. Though most of the comments I get come via email or in person, it is a blessing to know that a post I wrote might have meant something to someone, somewhere. Even if it was anonymous.
