From Valentines Day – 1986

To Whom it May Concern,

I thought maybe I would compile a Valentine wish list this year. First off, I would really like to have A Valentine! Strike That……make it 3!! While you are at it, could you possibly make them all blondes? One other request would be blue eyes. It would be great if they could be with me all of the time. If you have any wishes left over, could you throw in a little brother? I would be forever grateful.

Sincerely…..Lonely on Valentines Day 1986.

Dear Lonely,

Thank you for your letter. It was great to hear from you. I have to start by saying I am sorry it took us 20 years to make your wishes come true. However, you had some pretty strong requests. These things take time. I think you would agree that it was worth the wait. First off, we gave you blonde #1. She is your rock and the one you lean on. She’s forgiving, understanding, patient and kind. Blonde #2 was a joy to create. She took to the role naturally. I think you will find that she is funny and will keep you smiling. Blonde #3 comes with a warning. She is quiet now, but she will one day speak. Like blonde #2, her words will melt your heart and probably leave you weak. While you may find it tough, it’s one of my favorite qualities and a must for all of the daughters I create.

Also, I have placed each one of them in your home and in your care as you requested. Blondes #2 and #3 will need to move on someday in order to fulfill other “letters” I have received, but please love your daughters while you have them. You will be glad you did. Lastly, the little brother request was a tall order. Due to your age now, I had to make some modifications. Instead, I have given you a son. I think you will find that he is more than any brother can provide. He will want to be like you, so watch your actions. You may be his hero today, but tomorrow, he will be yours.

With that, I believe you will find this Valentines Day a great one. Should you need anything else, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Remember, I may not answer right away, but you will be glad when I do. Until next time.

All My Love……God
