Below is another opportunity to pause this week and reflect on what Friday and Sunday are all about. The song is by Brian Littrell of Backstreet Boy fame. This one has not gotten much airplay, if any. When put to video from the movie “The Passion”, it creates a stirring, gut wrenching reminder of what Christ endured for our sin. As the song says “I know I should have been there”. A word of caution, this might not be suitable for the younger viewers as the images come directly from “The Passion”. While the images are at times graphic, I think it’s an important reminder of the price that was paid. The creator of this clip did a wonderful job mixing in the visions of a Jesus that we all “wish to see, face to face”. Here’s “Wish” by Brian Littrell.
