I gotta lay off of the country music. Actually, once again, my sister called to give me fair warning on this one. No sooner did I get in the car and it came on the radio. Just when I recovered from “I Loved Her First” by Heartland, along came “My Little Girl” by Tim McGraw. Now there’s this one. Let me put it this way..Ya’ll gotta stop this. Somehow, I have to get through two “fellas” stealing my Cinderellas!
As I am typing this, I am reminded that I guess I stole someones Cinderella once too.

And I gotta watch three lovely young ladies still my three knights in shining armor away! Ahhhh….!!!!
Great English skills I have, huh? *Insert Lorie rolling her eyes at herself!*
Cinderella had a dream to be a rich but now the dream has been gone.Who has taken over ? No one can answer about the Fate.Who has fixed something have to be ? Satan defeated so many families in the world. All over the world is vain. What for the must is done ? It’s a sorrow for missing lovely one and loved one.Cinderella can not give us a high prestige and priority.
My husband just called me on the phone in tears and asked me to Google this song. I did and your website was the first one that popped up. I listened to it from your site – it’s a beautiful song. However, I can’t listen to these songs all the time or I would never stop crying!! Give me some Merle Haggard please!
I had three little Cinderella’s but time has flown and the oldest is getting married soon. Stealing Cinderella would be a beautiful song to play at the reception but it might bring all the guests to tears!! I enjoyed listening to the song on your site – thanks for sharing.
this is a great song it makes me think of my dad. him and my mom are goin to court over me and he has been so upset about everything like loosing me and he listens to this song over and over thinkin and crying because of me
What an amazing song. It makes me think about my dad, this should bring tears to any fathers eyes!!! Same hear “I Loved Her First” and “My Little Girl” are great songs!!!!
Aaron: I heard this song a few days ago and then again on the cma’s. Fell in love with it and can’t wait to memorize it to sing it to my “cinderella.” I really enjoy your site.
All I could think about after hearing this song is that I have finally found my Prince Charming after being divorced for 16 years. This man is the one true love of my life and I know that my dad would have welcomed him into our family with open arms, especially after having to deal with my ex. But my dad passed away 4years ago this month and never had the opportunity to meet my new guy and really get to know him! I know my dad worried about who would take care of me after he was gone and now he doesn’t have to worry!!! I know that my dad would have given his “Cinderella” to this man with no doubt that she would be well taken care of and loved!! When we get married, this one will be for my dad!!
Thank You!
when i first heard this song i thought about me because i am 19 and will soon be getting married and i am the baby girl in the family so all you dads know how that goes! my dad didn’t even want me to date! this song will bw played for my father daughter song at the wedding.
Hey! I’m so glad you guys like this song. I used to work with Chuck at Discovery Cove in Orlando, FL and when he told us he was going up to Nashville to become a country star I was so worried b/c he was not signed with anyone and I really didn’t want him to get his heart broken if nothing came out of it. Needless to say, it tok a few years but he is doing wonderful and I am so proud of him! I definitely think back to the days of him dancing on the big rock wall to the beach music at 4:30 everyday every single time I hear his voice singing away. Hope you guys will follow through and check out his entire album when it is released!
My daughter is getting married Jan.5th,2008. I had planned to have Sugarlands song played while I danced with Kristen, but I have heard this song & it hit home. It’s not released until after he wedding so I will be asking my nephew to sing it & play his keyboard. Great song-Thanks
this reminds me so much of something i’ll never get to experiance
and it makes me cry
This is the song we have decided to use as our first dance. Only to be followed by the father daughter dance with Allison Krause’s “When you say Nothing at all.” I sure hope my makeup is water proof.
No matter who steals this Cinderella, my father will always be the first man I ever loved.
