In case you were wondering, I have not forgotten or abandon the “40 Days of Hope“. We are still blogging our way through the 40 day devotional from Max Lucado’s “3:16” book. I was just double posting so I decided to only post my thoughts (here). However there was a quote from today’s devotional that I just had to share. Day 25 is entitled “Step in the Basin” and talks about how Jesus washing the disciples feet was “just not right”. Knowing they wouldn’t be there at his darkest hour and when he needed them most, he still washed their feet.
