Where do I even start? To quote Bart Millard of MercyMe when they were in concert here last year

In Texas we say “this will blow your stinkin’ mind”!

I was driving back from Cleveland and received an email to let me know that Mercyme has selected “Arms Wide Open” as their S.L.O.B of the Month! You can read the requirements in their post, but to say I am thrilled is the understatement of the week. This made my day! Before you think this is because I worship the ground that Mercyme walks on, let me explain something. I worship to ground that Jesus walked on. I worship Jesus. Those that know Mercyme know that they deflect all glory, honor and praise to Jesus. He is the one that is worthy. Their music and their concerts point to our Savior and that is why I appreciate this band. They connect with their fan base like no band I have ever seen. It is such an honor and privilege to be listed on their blogroll, and now featured on their site. Thank you Mercy Me. Thank you for who you are and what you do.

The second thank you goes to the faithful followers of “Arms Wide Open”. Who knew that when I started this thing 3 years ago, it would take on a life all its own. You all made this possible by following the link to Mercyme’s blog. Your clicks are what made this blogger a very appreciative man tonight. Thank you all for sharing the journey and making this possible. I sincerely appreciate each and every one that takes a few minutes each day to read along.

Make sure to keep clicking and following Mercyme. I’m not saying that for awards or CD’s, but because this band and these men point to Jesus. They live what they sing. They live what they believe.

Thank you all again!
