No doubt it’s Monday. I’m not a fan of Monday’s. If you’re like me, the start of the week is nowhere near as exciting as the end of the week. With that in mind, I thought I would share something someone said to me yesterday morning at church. I said “How you doing?” and he responded “I’m one day closer to glory“. Since I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed, I said “what glory?”. Nice….
He then told me about the glory that awaits us on the other side of this life. It was such a simple phrase, but a complete shift from the everyday thinking. So if you’ve got a case of the Monday’s today, just remember you are officially “one day closer to glory”.
