Dude, that is freakin’ sweet! I was wondering, in the man cave–are you going to be putting anything up about the Blue Devils National Championship? I mean, it would be a good idea–since they are most likely favored going into this season.
For reals though, that is a great sign and congrats on how it turned out.
PS How you been?
It’s great isn’t it? I am pretty sure my wife thinks it’s like the leg lamp from “A Christmas Story” but it looks very cool hanging in my office. The guys at RedEnvelope were great to work with the entire process.
It is not in my nature to congratulate Duke….ever…so I will just say that Duke/Carolina is usually a very cyclical process. Right now, the cycle appears to be in one teams favor. Just remember that some said that Carolina would be favored to win it again in 2010….and we all know how that turned out. They’ll be back this year. Roy loaded up again.
I need to get back to Dad Blogs. Many plates spinning at once. I’ll drop you an email. Thanks for the lead on RedEnvelope and stopping by the blog!
I dunno. I know UNC reloaded and stole away one of Duke’s blue chips in the eleventh hour, but still–it’s a bunch of unproven guys who didn’t want to work to get better last year and played with no sense of chemistry or urgency.
I like Duke’s chances next year with Curry coming on board and an all around big, tough team. I really can’t wait to see Singler and Curry playing together.
The cycle thing is true though, and to be honest, I am a UNC fan underneath it all. As long as the ACC wins, that’s all that matters to me.
No worries at DB, if you can swing by–that’s great. I will check you around.
Curry was a great pick-up for them. Their blue chip point guard coming in is a stud too. Losing the Wear brothers was a blow at first but depending on how things go with McAdoo trying to graduate early, it could turn out to be a blessing in “the Hill”. Roy’s got money to spend now and prospects to lock up. They picked up the kid out of Arkansas too that will help plug up the middle for a year.
Should be another great year of ACC Basketball!
