I know this song isn’t new but it is BY FAR one of my favorite worship songs. I first heard “Forever Reign” when my wife and I visited Cross Point Church in Nashville, Tennessee the weekend of the half marathon there. Not long after, we began rehearsing it for Journey Church as well. While we have yet to perform it on a Sunday morning, it is one of my favorites to play acoustic on.
I love the lyric in the second chorus that says “You are here, You are here, in Your presence I’m made whole“. It fires me up every time. In case you’ve somehow missed it, I thought I would post it today.
