Title: Shift

Scripture: 1 John 3:11, 14, 16-20

The restlessness and despair in our world and the restlessness and despair that exists within much of His Church is one and the same.

Getting on my mark requires faith; living on my mark requires an all-out, whole-heart, total-life surrender.

The holistic implications of the gospel are spiritual, physical and social.

Being a Christian, a follower of Christ, requires much more than just having a personal and transforming relationship with God. It also entails a public and transforming relationship with the world around us.

The relationship that Jesus restored between us and God through his death on the cross isn’t just for “another” life, but for this life.

The moment I shift focus away from myself and my needs and onto the needs of the people around me, that is when I truly experience LIFE.

On the other side of sacrifice is always blessing.
